FAQ

Granite Bay Garage Door FAQs

Can you balance and repair heavy custom wood or glass carriage doors?

Yes. Many Granite Bay estates feature custom carriage doors that are significantly heavier than standard residential steel doors. We determine exact door weights and drum configurations on site to provide matched high-cycle oil-tempered springs that protect your door structure and opener motor.

Why is a heavy-duty bottom seal upgrade important in Granite Bay?

Properties near greenbelts and foothill terrain frequently deal with leaves, dust, snakes, and field mice slipping under warped factory door seals. Our aluminum retainer with heavy EPDM rubber conforms to uneven concrete to maintain a weather-tight, pest-proof barrier.

Can you configure ultra-quiet openers for high-ceiling or living-adjacent garages?

Yes. In estate layouts where living quarters are situated directly above or next to garage bays, we set up high-torque LiftMaster DC belt drive systems equipped with soft-start/stop technology to eliminate track vibration and motor noise.
